Hi, this is a strange question but what are you studying in Athlone? I'm currently a BSc undergrad at AIT (Computer Network Management) and found your blog via Google search. This is a very small world! :)

I want to take Introduction to Digital Photography and Religion in Ireland: Neolithic to Early Medieval. Just to change things up for me. I have always wanted to learn more about my ancestry and take photography for a hobby. I haven't went yet. I am preparing for May 30 - June 30, 2014 Most of the stuff has to be in by February. I also heard that some places require a passport that is 6 months valid.

ReplyDeleteIf any help re passport:

I currently live in Co.Galway and daily commute to AIT (I'm a mature student). While I don't know a lot about other non-IT courses/resources, I can find out on Monday (one of the class is a photo-nut) and will post any info.
How are you finding Linux Admin? I'm in year 2 of my BSc (four year BSc Hons programme) Currently finishing the CCNA program (Discovery 1-4) and have Linux/Unix & Server 2008. Cisco have their R&D HQ near where I live and visiting their facility in January.
I have been to Arizona with my wife a few years ago (Scottsdale), hot as hell but the Frank Lloyd Wright school was amazing to visit.
Talk soon
Paul
Thanks for the link. :)
ReplyDeleteI want more of the Linux Admin part and less of the Cisco. (Laughs out loud.) The new Cisco classes are a pain because there is no text book assigned. I post my exams so that people can prepare for the crazy ways Cisco asks the questions. However it really doesn't help much. I have 2 classes left for the new CCNA program. At least the teacher I have is one of the top in the US. He really helps and goes into depth about every new topic we learn.
As for the living in Arizona part I want to leave here and not come back. Its is still 85 - 90-ish (29.4 - 32.2 Celsius) and it is supposed to be winter. Fun times.
Talk to ya later,
Jeff.
