Bing Rewards?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------Microsoft is giving out 2000 Xbox Live Reward points for signing up for Bing Rewards. I don't like Bing but I do like Xbox 360. Here is the link for people who are interested.

What Bing Rewards is like achievements or Microsoft survey styled stuff for Bing search engine. Get rewards for doing a little. Cool stuff? Let me know what you all think?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Update-
It was awesome that I got 2000 Xbox Live Reward points but it seemed like it was a buggy process as I had to get tech support and I wasn't the only one with the same problem of my points not arriving on time. I also have found that Bing still sucks after using it for a while I kept going back to Google for the right answers to my problems.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big and not so big updates.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
So first off I like to thank all the followers I have! Thank you all! Second item on my list to post about is that Zane Cannon got enough donations that he is going to get his service dog! It makes me feel really good that people are so kind this time of year. As for my donations it has still been just the $10 dollars... I am not giving up though. I have added the last of the Cisco exams for CNT150 and put up the link to the Final Exam for the class. If you guys enjoyed my site please show it by posting a comment, donating something, share the site, etc. I also updated the toolbox post with more stuff. You may of noticed that I am using CoinURL to shorten my links for my site. I make Bitcoin for ads. Let me know if that doesn't work well. (Sites broken, etc.) I wouldn't have to do that if I can get some help. I really want to study overseas. So I am truly sorry if that is inconvenient to anyone. Lastly, I am not going to be taking CNT160 or CNT170 until Cisco brings out a real book for the class and builds a native Packet Tracer for Mac.

Thank you,
Jeffrey Paull

Money saved so far:

-Update-
A while after posting this I got another donation for $10 from my friend Debra Flood. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas.
(Too everyone else I am not going to be politically correct and say happy holidays on my own site.)

Cisco Packet Tracer 6.0.1 for Intel Mac (no tutorials)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup that is right. MAC! MAC! MAC!

The program still belongs to Cisco yada yada legal crap (not my program Ciscos. Nothing is mine. Just took the time to make it work on Mac.) I used Wineskin to make Packet Tracer work with Mac. I have no idea what Cisco has been thinking lately. Why a Linux version of Packet Tracer but not Mac? That is great for Linux users like me but not for fellow Mac users also like me. Lol. So I did it myself. Let me know if there are any bugs I will take a look at it but can't promise anything. (I couldn't get the icon image to work...)

A note to Cisco hurry up with the times its not just Windows anymore. (Congratz on the Linux however.)

Cisco Packet Tracer 6.0.1 for Intel Mac (no tutorials)
Also if you can't Unrar there is a nice Mac tool called UnRarX that is free to use.

Yup I know...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know its hard to donate because it is around the holidays. I completely understand if you can't. I also apologize that I am asking people to donate for Zane Cannon and myself. I know however if we all work together we can change peoples lives. Zane needs a seizure assistance service dog and I want to study overseas. So if you can't donate please try to spread the word. Thank you all who visit my site.

Thank you,
Jeffrey Paull

Few updates.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wanted to get the rest of the exams done but ended up not getting any sleep last night so I plan on doing it tomorrow.

Secondly, I got a second donation. $10.00 from Kevin Kramer. A personal shout out to how much I appreciate your help and every bit counts toward my goal. Thank you.

Lastly, I sold my computer and took some of the money and put it into Bitcoin ASICMiner Block Erupter USB 336MH/s Sapphire Miner and am now moving things along with Bitcoin.
Using my Mac to ssh into my Raspberry Pi with the miners.

Happy Veterans Day. Not so happy updates.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
More exams are going to be posted tonight. It was kinda late of me posting as yesterday I was helping a good friend through her difficult situation.

My recent difficult situation is that Google AdSense blocked my account. I have no idea why as the email that was sent 3 times didn't have any info. I have told them (appeal form) I use my site for donations and I get traffic by exams, etc. that I post. If they don't want me to to have there account it is there own loss. Even more I don't think I will be a Google customer any more. I submitted my appeal form. Hopefully they give me my account back. If not my new search engine will be Duck Duck Go as Bing sucks big time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Appeal form below.
As you can see the ads are gone from my site till the appeal goes through. If I get Google AdSense back I am posting my location of edits and posts. Just in case.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

https://duckduckgo.com/ for people who want to check it out.

To all the Veterans, Happy Veterans Day.

Almost to 2000 views!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been a while since I posted a update for my donation for study abroad and such.

It seems like Google AdSense is working out better then any of my other ads. I am not giving up on my other ads as I find J-List and Amazon are my most used sites.

As for Bitcoins everything is moving along. I have been doing faucets, surveys, videos, and Dragon's Tail for Bitcoins. So far I have .00166604 BTC which is $0.50. I am not complaining. Free is free. I have also started to mine for Bitcoins. I am in the Eligius Mining Pool. Its a good start.

My first goal is to buy some ASICMiner Block Erupter USB 336MH/s Sapphire Miner from Amazon and mine Bitcoins faster. Second goal is to make my Raspberry Pi into a low powered Bitcoin miner with the ASICMiner Block Erupters. Third goal is to keep traffic coming to my site. The last part is a bit tough but I am thinking of some giveaways or something.

Another thing I don't like.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really hate Microsoft's Scroogled campaign. It is a feature that Google's computers match keywords from emails with most relevant ads. No people read it. If anybody wants to get mad at a company, it should be Microsoft letting the NSA read our email, Skype, etc. (Microsoft handed the NSA access to encrypted messages) Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

A thing I don't like.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Google is taking down iGoogle which I use all the time at school. Anybody else think this is unfair? I have been against it since they first announced it. What are they really losing by keeping it up? Do you think it has to do with Apple because they use "i" in everything? Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Google's being nice.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I might have Google AdSense after all. Tried for the third time on applying and got a half way email back.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-UPDATE-
Now I have Google Ads!

Nothing new.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Still no more donations. Going to have to try even more things. I can do this.

I thought you were my friend Google?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Giving up on Google AdSense because they keep rejecting my application.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even more help. Amazon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amazon joins the battle!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

More help. This time J-list!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Got J-List's support. I give them my thanks.

A small donation. Still helps.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
First donation was from my grandma. 7.30 which helps because Ireland uses euros. Converted from euros is $9.91 in US currency. $4990.09 to go.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I need to think of other stuff to post about.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets see, so far I got no donations. Keep being rejected for ads. I have to post an ad on my site to help with the process yet I can't post an ad without my account being valid for ads. Who thought of this shit? Here is the list of things I need to do.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Further detail:

Insufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about. Fundraiser site at the moment don't really care about what ads display. As long as it doesn't offend anybody.

To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:

- Make sure that your pages have sufficient text - websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved.
I can say I did this.
- Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
Yup.
- Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense - do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
Finished. Tweaking stuff here or there.
- Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved.
Only the blog page for me.
- Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
Couldn't be any more simple.
- If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program (http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?&answer=2490020). Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved.
Not on YouTube.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is some of the reasons why its hard to make money on the internet. Ten thousand hoops to jump through. Well I am going to start posting other stuff now. I am still trying to earn money.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

A preview.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a preview from the school web page that they posted to YouTube. This short video is one of many reasons why I want to go to Ireland to study.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Video belongs to Mesa Community College not me.

Next steps...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am now going to try J-List for my ad source. My Facebook friends and I like them. Crossing fingers on this I don't really want to sign up for many more ad places.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Progress... Maybe...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Been trying to get Google AdSense to work with my blog to help my college overseas fund. Not working out so well. I guess I have to write more. So my posts in my everything blog will be about my progress toward my goal of $5000 for now.

Should also note that you can find me on omightybuggy.tumblr.com which is going back to being a blog for my video games.
